“Freely you have received; freely give.”

This work was not written to create a new doctrine, denomination, or movement.

It was written because understanding has been lost.

Scripture has been read, quoted, debated, and defended — yet rarely understood. The result is a church that hears but does not listen, sees but does not perceive, and teaches parable without meaning.

The Betrayal of the Church: Understanding is a return to the Word itself, examined carefully, patiently, and honestly, so that what was spoken may finally be understood.

The message of this work is not bound by walls or denominations, nor offered for gain. It is given freely to every soul who seeks light in the midst of confusion. What you hold in your hands is not a new teaching, but a call to remember, to see what was written from the beginning- scripture, and to hear what has long been spoken yet seldom understood.

The world has turned its face from wisdom, mistaking ritual for faith and comfort for truth. But the voice of understanding calls again. It asks the reader to see, not through doctrine, but through the Spirit that the Word of God may be known as it was meant to be known. The Word, which is both Christ and divine truth.

Take these words and share them freely. Let them travel where the light of truth is dim, the place where confusion darkens the spirit. Do not add to them, nor take away, but carry them as they are given, for they are not mine alone, but belong to all who seek.

The time has come to awaken. The time has come to understand.

What You Will Learn

^

The Seven Churches, Reconsidered

The letters in Revelation are not relics of ancient cities — they are a mirror of the church across history. Each message reveals both failure and the path to restoration.

^

Why We Were Created

From Genesis to Revelation, the knowledge of good and evil is not an accident, but the foundation of God’s purpose. Understanding this changes how we see judgment, salvation, and responsibility.

^

Understanding Over Tradition

This book does not rely on inherited doctrine or institutional authority. It examines scripture through symbolism, context, and purpose — allowing the Word to explain itself.

A Call to Wake Up

“He who has an ear, let him hear.” These words were not written for history — they were written for now.

To all who call on the name of God, and to all who seek the understanding of the truth of the Word,
The end as the beginning
How does the story of the Bible end? That is the question, isn’t it? When we read the Bible, the written texts which have been chosen for us to read end with the beginnings of the Christian church and the outreach they initiated. And since then, the church has flourished! Its outreach has put the word of God in every corner of this world. Or has it? What if the church has betrayed the truth it was built on?
The last writing in the traditional Bible is the book of Revelation written by the apostle John while he was in exile on Patmos. Many have disregarded this writing as being the ramblings of a mad man. Others have tried to understand its meaning, but their studies led to nothing. It is presented to us as the Revelation of Christ Jesus. And it gives us a haunting outlook on the future of the church, the truth of which we can see clearly today when we question the hypocrisies surrounding the church. The beginning of the book of Revelation contains John’s letters to the seven churches in Asia (the Asia of that time) as Jesus dictated to him. However, the message of those letters was not intended for the people of that time as much as it was intended for all people for all time to come.
The first message was to the church in Ephesus. In it we are told how the church has forsaken their first love. In other words, they had lost their original purpose.
Then the church in Smyrna where people were pretending to be Jews even though they weren’t. In other words, evil was sneaking in among them pretending to be righteous.
Then the church in Pergamum where the people were following the teachings of Balaam and the Nicolaitans. In other words, they were letting outside influence change their message.
Then the church in Thyatira where the people were tolerating Jezebel. In other words, immoral behavior was being allowed.
Then the church in Sardis where they were told to “Wake up!” because their deeds were not found to be complete. In other words, the people became complacent.
Then the church in Philadelphia where the people are found to be in good standing but are weary from their endurance. In other words, the church was well established there but was weakening from weariness.
Finally, the church in Laodicea where the people are not hot or cold but lukewarm, they think they are rich and well off. In other words, they are mistaken because the riches they have are physical in nature rather than the riches of the spirit.
When we have understanding, we can know this message was not only to the churches of that time, but to our church history today. The church did forget their beginnings. It has allowed evil to sneak into it. It has allowed outside influence to change its message. It has allowed immoral behavior. It has become complacent. It has also been in good standing, well established, as it has reached the ends of the Earth, yet has grown weary in the process. It has lastly become prideful, thinking it has riches, but it is mistaken as to the riches which matter. We can see how each letter mirrors a stage in the church’s journey through history.
Therefore, those letters should still speak to us in our time. Yes, the time has come for understanding! The time has come to call out the Christian Church of all branches! What are you doing? Repent and do the things you did at first! Do not fear the synagogue of Satan! Be faithful even to the point of death! Repent and remove the outside influences! Repent of Jezebel’s ways! Wake up! Strengthen what is about to die! Hold on to what you have in the patient endurance! Buy from Jesus the gold refined in the fire and white clothes to wear! You of all people know the meaning of these things and you of all people know the truth in these words.
The traditional Bible ends there (after the rest of the revelation of Jesus). With the Christian Church attempting to begin a movement but already showing its humility and its destined disgrace. But as we just discovered the story of the Bible does not end there. The church continues up to today and then some. We need to consider the actions of the generations passed. In order to reach a full understanding of where we are now, how the story has continued, and where the story will go, we need to start at the beginning and reach our understanding.
The message is not as simple as it seems. Jesus spoke in parables; God sends His message in the ultimate parable. The parable of the Earth, the unfolding of creation as divine teaching, one we must understand.

“True repentance requires change and without repentance, forgiveness is not possible. We know what the story means now and cannot say we are blind, deaf, or ignorant. We can understand and therefore must repent in order to receive forgiveness.”
